Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Linx, Mar 10, 2019.

  1. Ive had my multi for a couple of weeks and had several, maybe its a ducati thing?

  2. I know the road
Glad your ok good job you didn’t panic

  3. Hey Linx! Welcome and really glad you came out of the mishap okay. If you enter in the search box 848 False Neutrals it brings up some older posts. You should also go to The Machines forum, find 848 and post a thread asking those people about it. Maybe someone will have more current info for you. My experience with my '03 Monster is difficulty finding neutral. It's always a lesson in finesse. It's definitely set up different than my Husky and old Yamaha. Guessing you may have to change something when you put the bike back together to solve your problem. Good luck!

  4. Hi Linx and welcome. So sorry to hear about your off. Living in Ledbury with sister and my best m8 both living near Tewkesbury I know that road very well, it's a great ride, though in this case obviously not for you. Glad that you managed to walk away and I hope you get the bike fixed up without too much outlay, though the damage doesn't look cheap to fix.

  5. Sorry to read this,I feel for you,

I was wondering if you have a quickshifter and auto blipper? As i have been reading that on occasion on downshifts they can play up . I ride a Monster 1200R and this is the best gearbox of any bike i have ridden,it really is like a hot knife through butter smooth , (no QS fitted)

  6. No it's all standard.
