Ducati Scrambler

  1. If I won the lottery tomorrow there isn't one model that Ducati make currently that I would spend my money on. I've spoken with a few Ducati riding mates who feel that he same way. Maybe the Scrambler will make me change my mind, probably not but I'll wait and see.

  2. Well that's the thing isn't it.....I think they have been keeping people happy with their current lineup - as you say the unit numbers speak for themselves at the moment....I think this will flop though....only my opinion. They did one years ago "Stark" design from what I remember - that flopped but has kept a collectors type of value....

Perhaps this Starck-designed Aprilia 6.5 is what you had in mind?

  4. Yeah. That's the one... Didn't like that either...

  5. This "scrambler" will sell well i reckon...

BUT, i know a guy who built one over here couple of yrs ago. And it looks better than any of the pics Ive seen of Dcaati's efforts.

I will dig out the pic, its on an old phone. It was yella and all !!

  6. I like the idea of a scrambler. Ideal commuter, sunday ride out in style and not speed, the kinda thing that looks great with boots, jeans, vintage jacket and open face lid and goggles

    Love one.

But the ducati one i have seen ticks none of those boxes! Shame.

  7. I agree. I think it just looks like a monster with wide bars.
The old Scrambler is proper cool. Probably a pig to ride but I'd still like one for hooning...

  10. why is it a sticker and not inlay?

  11. i reckon its a pre production bike.....not finished completely, kind of a mule, but 99% complete (?).

  12. I would have expected to see steel spokey type wheels

  13. The Scrambler was made to cash in on the current hipster trend if you ask me. Which is fair enough, I'm sure it'll sell and make Audi some money.

  14. If I wanted a scrambler, I'd buy an XT500. Or a TS250. I wouldnt buy a ducati.
