My 748s

 

Here's my 2000 748 after a slow 5 months prep'ing for the track.
Never done anything like it before but quite pleased with how it turned out mechanically and aesthetically..

 

Satin / matt bike with red rim tapes........... bloody love it ;-)

Any specific track parts ?

Nothing particularly track specific as she was a bit rough when I got her so needed a lot of general stuff. I did replace the hoses with silicone ones, upped the Rr cog by 2teeth on a cush drive captive Qr carrier. Chucked on some soft grips and a bit of lock wire and away we went......for now......)

Is that pink paint, or does it just look like pink paint?
If it is pink, it's great.

 

lol ! No it's the standard red paint, just a shit camera phone pic.

 

I suspected this to be the case.
Disappointing. A pink and black paint scheme (where the pink is a small area such as on your bike) would look great.
Not saying yours doesn't, but pink and black would be very original for a Ducati.

 

I've decided I'll be buried with this old girl. She really is an amazing machine.

Im impressed you've used the WD40 to clean the garage floor.

 

Hehehehe, well it gets pretty muddled up whenever I try to fiddle with the bike..although I actually use mainly to grease certain parts of the bike
