  4. No, I look back at some photos of me with my bikes over the years and don't even recognise myself, time goes quicker then the bikes do.

  5. image.jpeg image.jpeg My first Ducati was a 900SS bought new in 1995 which I part exchanged for my 916 in '98 ... I wish now that I had been able to keep both since they become part of the family.
18 years on I bought this, but keeping my 916.

  6. Hey @Pavey what do you think of those maxxis tyres?...ive never been brave enough to try them....

  7. I first put them on my 749 which i used daily to commute all over London, and found the grip in the wet fantastic. They also come shaped like an egg so the bike tips in really well with them on.

Have put them on every bike since; great tyre, great price. My SF came with Diablo RC's on them, which i hated, found them very skittish in the wet and didn't last long at all.

  8. Hmm - might try some....its nice to hear other peoples take on tyres (not magazine's) ie I'm finding the 2ct's ive got on the hyper at the moment way better than the m7rr's on my zed....ive got some more used ones to go through first before I do get to purchasing more new rubber....

  11. Jusutus, is that an original mono and are they a limited edition.

  12. Yes it's an original Monoposto. They don't have any number plaques or so, if that's what you are meaning.

  13. I should have said limited run, low numbers made.

    Thanks

  14. Just out of interest I notice that most seat/tail units are made out of two halves fixed together, mine is a 1 piece carbon fibre unit sprayed with CF striping. I have looked but cannot see any like it anywhere, But then most of this bike is non standard.

  15. The DP carbon tail (96950903B) is one-piece. All stock tails are two-piece, including the 2003 999R carbon tail like the one on my bike.

  16. got me thinkin there,, being offered many jobs around London areas just now but know traffic is a real pain , one solution is to take my 749 down with me,, ( got a mate lives in the cim area in S london ) just not sure if the wet every day is going to get it down, or me,,
