  6. Got some great footage today. Got my lap times into the 1min 46secs on the first lap here and the second lap has loads of overtaking in it:

  7. Good stuff. Glad you're ok, it isn't slow round Coppice. Bloke in a mini was killed there last year.

  8. Great stuff. Aren't track days ace!?

  9. Poor fella, yeah was doing my best not to look at the speedo, glad it wasn't at Craner or I think I'd have been putting her straight in a skip :Wideyed:

  10. You think the passes were out of order?

  11. They looked good to me. Certainly weren't lunging down the inside and good to see you were happy to back off if you felt the apex may be taken.

Did you get grief for them?

Edit : I guess the one at 6:10 might have been a bit tight as he was tipping in

  12. No, I just thought that's what @Mary Hinge was getting at. I did get a slapped wrist at the end of the day for going into the esses too hard but that wasn't really affecting anyone around me, just a bit over excited.

  13. No I dont think he was saying that at all but I'm sure he'll put us right. Strange that they should pull you up on something if its not involving another rider.....what were you doing at the esses?!

  14. Your trackday, your bike, your neck. What's it got to do with anyone else?! ;)

Not gutted I missed this one. Not at all. Not an inch.

  17. Fabulous day and the little bike was faultless:) fitted new conti sports and they appeared great too. Bit knackered on the ride home but all good. First dry day for several years was a stonker.

  18. Was going to give this one a miss as css have been less than impressive in the passed, but the day fell right for me and i gave it a go,as said in the briefing they hammered home about being courteous to other riders with zero tolerance for offenders.I can only speak for the inters group but we had no red flags and i only saw 2 waved yellow incidents all day,so 5 full half hour sessions, all in all probably the best track day i have attended, personally i was not overtaken with any harsh moves and i was able to concentrate 100% on improving my riding, big improvements for me yesterday and came away happy.

  19. Nice to meet you mate :)

  20. If I slowed down earlier it might have involved other riders! instead I went shooting past so as not to be in anyones way and threw out the anchor very late, my style across the esses was rather 'creative' shall we say. Front wheel and leg out on the way in and rear wheel on the way out. So it was a fair cop that I was pulled up for being a bit reckless.
