I agree that refunds should be made where credit notes are not wanted.... if something goes wrong and they go bust, a credit note is worthless.
Personal booking through the link on the Ducati site when they were first released. Looks as if they aren’t automatically rebooking another day at Donington and just issuing credits. I’m not really fussed as have a whole bunch of dates in mind for this year so can easily use the credit.
Booked 5th June and 16th June at Cadwell with MSV Silverstone Ducati Day on the 6th July 16th July at Donington with no limits. Here’s hoping for good weather and no return to lockdown!
I booked direct with MSV and I've not had any emails from them at all. I don't want a credit note for some random trackday, not only that there is no way id pass the normal trackday noise limit, that's why I booked the Donny day.
Why aren't we making a Ducati day reservation as a DF group with our own T&Cs.... An exclusive garage Full refund, no credit notes Massage and emotional therapy....
Won't be booking a standard track day at Donington - Ducati day or nothing, so credits may be up for sale (if permitted but......).
If they cancel and don't offer an alternative date for the Ducati Donington track day they legally have to give a full refund, you don't have to accept a credit. Likewise if the new date does not fit in to your calendar you can get a full refund. MSV"s T&C's doesn't absolve them from your legal consumer rights.
Why haven't Ducati uk and MSV rescheduled the date to something available? rather than all the rigmarole of sending out credit emails............ stinks of greed!
