I’ve booked on the novice group at Oulton on my 959 to use up the credit but eagerly awaiting the Ducati day to come back to donny
i want to say whats your point but i won't ...the silverstone one has not yet been cancelled and may well be their first trackway post cv19....which will really be fun with their interpretation of the rules..3 bikes in the great big garages.. There is no evidence i can see that the Donnington one has been re scheduled,...and if it has how crap is it to not get the info out? secondly to do it in August as per the above rumour what a week two weeks straight after the other......
I had an email from Silverstone today about rescheduling the 2 I have missed so far in may and June, He said the Ducati day and the following day still have question Marks over them but keep fingers crossed .... I guess we've just got to be patient..
Did you email them?? I've had a mini email conversation with them as I'm trying to schedule ones I've had postponed to get them done before they all book up... "We are aiming to re-start in July- there is a question mark over the Ducati day at the moment- if we booked you in we can always look to transfer you to an alternate date- we should know more about Ducati in the coming week or so" I took that as the Ducati day and the next day too..
I bought both of mine with the discount, the guy (Matt) I was dealing with is off until Tuesday so waiting for confirmation that mine have been moved, he didn't mention any cost and tbh I'd expect them to move it free... worth dropping them an email and requesting a new date soonish as they are not doing too many GP dates by the looks of it... he did say they can be carried across to next year if other dates are no good...
I'm booked in at Bedford June 22nd (local track day rider gave me a kick up the ass) I stuggled to get Silverstone website to work, July 7th. Started processing payment, wouldn't work. Several times. Tried to call was wrong number, invaild. Looked on line, Contact center is closed (virus). Had similar issues last year I recall, several did? with having to call to verify. I tried every way I could... & Check today is now marked FULL BOOKED. No idea how (local riders) booked in, but I won't be on that one... MSV seem on it > I think all trackdays for june were pretty much fully booked last week? maybe some riders in different groups this year. I wanted to book Donny > Novice only slot. I don't think it is fair for me to ciruclate in that group, I am sure some will but I wouldn't enjoy it.
So with limited garage space how many people will be hiring a 230V generator for the day to run warmers?
I take it those slots are for a general track day at Donnie? The last email I received from MSV was on 06/05/20 - can't say I'm impressed so far and there's no information on their site that I can see about a rescheduled Duc day? Pretty P/poor IMO.
