Out of interest, has anyone attempted to get a refund from MSV? Edit: Just seen Mr C post above. I take it that is a no. What about attempting a refund via CC company?
Just read this bit on their email: in these uncertain times we reserve the right to open the day to other brands if the day isn’t filled.
I’m selling my credit note - £175. I can’t do 11th Aug. Any takers? I was in fast but it looks like it can be used to book any group
I've just rebooked the novice group since the 11th falls on the last of my 4 rest days - otherwise I was in for a fight for a refund. If other 'brands' are allowed then I'll re-evaluate on the day. Not out to get the fastest lap time - just want to survive, enjoy (?) and ride my bike home!
They may be other ‘brands’, but the riding doesn’t have to be any different. Those that accepted me turning up on a 1299S suddenly think I might be a liability if I turned up on an S1000RR?.....
S1000rr are twice as fast in the corners on a tday than 1299 ridden on a ducati day. I think you would be less of a liabilty on the bm.
Just concentrate on keeping it upright through Craners on the sighting laps this time @Jolley. Won’t be able to annoy anyone with the bike in the back of the van sulking in the paddock
Booked into advance group, not going to make up for Mugello but better than sitting at home. Gone back on my word about doing another Ducati day as the last time at Donny it was a V4 crash festival with a red flag on the first lap in the first session and it continued through out the day.
Why has the Siverstone day been cancelled? Anyone know? From Ducati website: Information on the rescheduling of the Silverstone Ducati Track day will follow soon…..all Ducati Track day participants will be contacted by Silverstone directly, but watch this space for information
i think they are looking to run two F1 races there.......and we is down the pecking order. Shit comms!
How come they are running F1 but MotoGP in August is cancelled .. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/938285/1/british-motogp-cancelled
Who knows... Has anyone actually been emailed that the ducati day at silverstone is cancelled..or did you just stumble over the announcement on their web site? When did they put it on the website....and given the usual faff around filling off information required sections to do anything meaning Silverstone have everyones contact details, why hasn't a simple email been sent out to the paid up front customers as it went live on their web site?
Website is still selling spaces? Also, it says it's for Ducati owner's, not that you have to ride one. So if I bring the 996 + 999 v5's I can ride the GSXR???
found it on the Ducati uk site although you have to search quite deep to find it under experiences....
