  4. How many garages are their at Donington ? Just wondering if I need to bring my gazebo and a generator. Andy

  5. Yeah, my booking was via a dealer for the original date and included garage. God knows what we will get now.
I'm bringing slicks in the hope I still get garage and power, but bike will be shod with treaded rubber for arrival as its all a tad unpredictable.
I asked MSV for info this morning and they said it will go to my dealer, as thats where the booking came from.

  6. Bring them - with the restricted numbers allowed in the garages they fill up fast - better to have the option if you can’t get a garage.

  7. If anyone needs power and can’t get a garage you are welcome to share my generator.

  8. 11th I hope. You coming??

  9. There are loads. But I’m not 100% certain everyone will get a garage slot at 6 per garage, max. I’ll take my generator too just in case :):upyeah:

  10. There's 38 garages at Donny, and 3 bikes per garage means 114 bikes inside, out of probably 180 on the day?
I was up there last thursday and we got there 9pm the night before to drop the bikes off and get a space with some mates who had come down from Scotland, the garages were full that night!

However the other 2 times I've been since everything started again and the garages were half empty, so who knows.

  11. Leave ya bike overnight at the track and scoot off to the hotel? F@ck that.

  12. Thought Donington wouldn't let you in the night before

  13. You’re right but it shouldn’t be a problem. We leave our bikes at tracks on euro gigs. But I guess UK has more thieving bastardry going on. Sad but true.

  14. Donington and brands seem to have most thefts

  15. Attending the briefing was a vulnerable time. That’s when the cheeky bastards would pounce apparently.

But the brief is all done online now prior to attending the track. A good thing I think and I would imagine it’s here to stay.

  16. One thing that I hope will continue. Makes it more relaxed knowing you're first out and f*cking about running up and down pit lane!

  17. Whats the power point set up at Donny? Just standard 3 pin 13A plugs or a combination of that and the blue and red CEE 16A caravan stuff?

  18. i always use 3 pin 13a stuff mate

  19. I think it’s the combination. Standard UK and that 16A multi cable witchery.

  20. To be fair I wouldn’t normally, only because some lads we know had driven from Scotland so wanted to make sure we were with them. I locked mine and my mates bike together with 3 massive chains to the sink in the garage, all the other bikes were just left there on the side stand so I figured ours would be last to go! Plus they have 25 hour security so probably safer there than my garage!

First time I’ve ever done it so no idea if it’s a 1 off.
