Thats just normal fast group behaviour, no better when they are staggered as they just go chasing the last mine in the previous wave ..... can't blame the TDO for people throwing themselves at the floor !!!
Out of around 20 trackdays last year, that was the only one not staggered, and by far the worst for crashes, maybe just coincidence
Fast group there is not normally much of a pit lane queue anyway IME as most are timing pit lane opening to whip the tyre warmers off.
They keep you in a q for ages, take crappy pics, wait for everyone in the group to get into pit lane. Most are on warmers/sticks.. do 3 sighting laps at snails pace, so all the heat is lost, then all dive bomb the next 3 corners..
Think it will be more about unnecessary use of medical resources (ambulance/paramedic at track) as opposed to meeting of large groups.
I know its ages away but I cant see this going ahead. I did notice on MSV Facebook page that they cancelled tomorrows 23/03 Brands, Cadwell and Donington and are offering Credits. Would rather a refund than a credit if thats the case
I was looking over the weekend. The really should shut the booking system if they're about to postpone/cancel events. I for one don't need another f*cking credit note/voucher!
