i thought it was reasonable, get 10% off to, they got a dyno and suspension set up and stuff there too, how much would you say its worth then if too expensive? i dont want to book my first track day and be mugged......
Brands is limited by the terms of its license to how many full gp days it can do I believe. £229 is bloody expensive though, its normally about £160. No thanks, I think I'll pass.
I will pass on that despite it being my nearest track. I could do two Snetterton's and still have change.
Think i'll try and do this one and stay upright at Paddock Hill bend while I'm at it. Reasonable price for the GP circuit with the discount, esp if its only three groups. MSV normally charge £220 for the GP anyway. When its cheaper is four and you loose a session. I've only done a few sessions on the GP so a full day could be quite good. I'll write something up for the front page later this week
Brands GP is a fantastic track. Back when I was doing TDs regularly, Brands GP was always well over £200. Prices have fallen hard!
£169 with MSV this year. Don't know why. Looking round most of the TDO brands gp isn't being run much this year.
Matt, can you merge this thread with the Dodgy Handshake one, cos ... well ... giggles and shit
I think msv are running four groups of twenty minutes, so they get more riders on track and you get less track time. tbh, a Ducati day is going to be safer for your pride and joy than sharing the track with the usual axe murders. Remember that the GP circuit is usually 101db. I would hope that Ducati can 'come to an arrangement' with the circuit.
On a very hot day about seven years ago, a trackday at Brands was all but ruined by daft Ducati riders, lobbing their bikes at every opportunity. At least 5 had crashed before lunch. Nearly every Intermediate session finished early thanks to bits of red fairing all over the track. It was absolutely bloody hilarious
At £183 with discount is more palatable, and would love to do Brands GP as never done it. Will have a look once the details are up. Anyone know how we actually obtain the discount?
