  2. Only if you are flying by helicopter with full clearance to go straight over Birmingham airport. I'd love to be able to see anyone get from Ducwolves to JHP in 10 mins lol.

  3. I thought that too when the other guy said it

  4. Jeez, these guys seem really bad...almost as bad as a Kia dealership.

  5. Some would travel further to cornerspeed....

  7. A friend bought his Desmo new from them. Didn't have a single good word to say about Tony or the dealership.

  8. been following this thread and really disappoints, I'm in a pretty remote area and do all my own maintenance from oil and filters to valves etc, have done for over 25years, hgv mechanic to trade(just got out the trade 3 months ago at 46, got sick of it and have had surgery twice on my back) to be honest I prefer to do my own work that way I know its done correct,

out of interest who else does there own maintenance??
just to add ive never had a problem selling any of my bikes with part service history and the 999 will hopefully be a keeper so not a worry (that's the plan anyway ;-) )

try buying a bike from laguna Maidstone, that will open your eyes :-(

  9. I have always done my own maintenance on every bike. I do work within an engineer trade but sometimes if I am unsure then the Internet is a fantastic tool. Plus for every job you learn you find something else associated with it that you never knew.

  10. Just left a review on their website. There was one other on there entitled "rubbish". Avoid this store. Here's my review:

This is the second time I have been here and I left without getting what I wanted and walked out. On the first occasion, the manager was rude and didn't want to serve me as I was not wearing ducati apparel. This time, the parts guy said he had only worked there for a couple of weeks and only let me look at the micro fish after I prompted him. How these idiots got the job, I'll never know. I asked to speak to the mechanics and the lady told me they were too busy so no, I couldn't speak to them. When I ce the first time and tried to arrange a test drive, they wanted £40 for each one. I got an hour a piece back to back rides on an 899 then a 1199 in Cardiff and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I know where my money is going.!! Do yourself a favour and avoid this franchise. They deserve to go under.

  11. I'm an ex hgv mechanic too, and have done all my servicing and repairs on all my bikes. Just putting a 1098 into my 996 at the mo! Went to wolves ducati for the second time today.

  12. Thanks for the link. Just checked it out and am amazed they're still afloat. I was going to talk to ducati also. If you go on their website, they ring you back from Italy. Maybe try duk first, but I find it best going to the top.
