  1. Yes Steve it was very hard to make it so close .. it took me lot of hours to make it the right measures. I have not ruin none of the oem parts .. that was my purpose from the beggining, i can make it oem in future (for sale purpose maybe).
Im sorry but i cant make an other one and send it because as you said is a big pain to make it.
If you want to try your self i can send you a file with the exact measures and give it try. 20170814_195435.jpg

  7. Shoboshi,
I am just about to do something similar to my Multi (2017)
Have you any pictures showing how you cut the original tail piece?
I have had look at mine, and I am two minds where to cut it.
Did you make a metal plate for the rear number plate hanger?

    Thanks.
I will post up some pics of mine once done :)

  8. Hi Dave. I cut the upper part to shape, trimming the plastic vanes on its underside. I then used s hot air gun to bend the plastic down which becomes the number plate bracket.
I don’t have any pics unfortunately. The number plate seals off the gap between itself and the plastic lower section.

  9. Originally, I mounted mini indicators either side of the main underside plastic piece which forms the splash guard/lower section of the standard tail section. Didn’t like the angle they were at so made a small metal bracket to hold the indicators. Had it powder coated at my mates work. Indicators are 184mm in width.
180mm is the minimum legal EU requirement. Much to the disappointment of some Luxembourg police.!

  10. And welcome. Introduce yourself properly in the newbies section too whydoncha.

  11. Hi, Thanks, that's helpful, I had not thought of heating and bending the original plastic.
I will post an intro, I have been a long term lurker....

  12. All the inspiration I need, the mudguard is going, on big runs it can always go back on, I'll look at the plate.
    Thanks
