  1. Just make sure your dipped beam pattern has not changed. At MOT time it could be a failure.

  2. i checked up against the wall and it was pretty close. plus mot isn't due till next march if worse comes to worse ill put the old bulbs back in

  3. There's a bit in most bike Haynes manuals with info on how to check your headlight.
Only a case of putting a few marks on the garage floor/wall...

  4. so its been a while since I last posted and in that time I've managed to get my self a carbon single piece tail for £120 and now I'm shot of the Mrs there will be a lot more time and energy going into the 1098. Oh and I got a set of rear pags and pillion seat.

  5. But who will make your tea?

  6. I thought that but then I realised I'm not much of a tea drinker I will miss some one getting me beer from the fridge but on the other hand without her here I have the money to fill my fridge with beer my tank with fuel and my garage with standard parts taken form the 1098 ha ha

  7. Win win...:upyeah:

  8. You won't need the rear pegs then if the other half has gone.
    Nice tail piece.

  9. Ah yes, but what about the trophy tart?

  10. Why not point out all the good parts instead?! Unlimited freedom, more money, less hassle. Unrestricted, inappropriate food choices and everything you put down stays where you left it!

  11. what about the bad points

dirty washing, messy house, make your own dinner, crap food, companionship, no sex. Besides I'm married and I have unlimited freedom. As does my wife. She goes out to festies etc and I go out to bike hols with mates etc. No hassle. We both come and go as we please. We may be married but I'd never tell her where she can or cant go. Neither would i ever forbid her from doing anything. This goes both ways.

  12. You're a lucky man. I have loads of things I can't do, times I can't do them and places I can't go. My house is always clean though.

  13. Luck is nothing to do with it. Its about respect. Who the hell am I to tell another person, whether I am married to them or not, what they can and cant do. Its their life. Besides, my wife knows I am more interested in bikes and engines than I am other women. I'm 48. Ive shagged everything, smoked everything and taken all manner of substances. Nowadays, i'd rather have a cup of tea and a sit down.

  14. Relationships are too much of a compromise. We're not wired up for monogamy.

  15. You're absolutely right with how you treat your missus. I wish mrs Pingping would think the same!!

  16. "Everything"? :Woot:

  17. Jesus, not to say you should or comment on your relationship, but she'd have gravel rash on her arse from how fast she had been thrown out of the door if my other half tried doing that! We both get the freedom we want to do things as long as its not other people!

  18. I've got young'uns though, so in her defence, if I did what I wanted all the time shed be lumbered with the kids!

  19. Your a good man Mr pingping :Cigar:
