There was actually a guy on here who had top yoke plates made, and was flogging them.
But agree without any history, original fairings/tail piece/top yoke # etc it's really a track day weapon or fun rider. Hope someone actually pays guy for it and saves it from the state it's in.

 

And if someone is buying it as a track bike, they should be paying more than £3k in that state. I hope it’s a forum member who is going to share the resto.

Agreed on the non-comprehensive advert lyrics, this has been up 4 sale before now and the property should be easy to locate & knock on the door for more information.

 

It all depends how deep your pockets & mindset are at the end of the day.

I do believe that the 97 and 98 was a no, but the 2000 year model was a yes.

 

not sure what you mean Peter, to clarify what I meant - people won't be bidding north of 8K on an "ordinary" 996 needing a lot of work, when fully running, good condition bikes can be had for similar money.
