It’s a 20 year old 650 BMW. It was in 2002 and the intervening 20 years won’t have made it any less . That’s not snobbery, that’s being bluntly honest Andy
I don't think that is in question, although the significance of CK underpants goes way over my head. It's the seller’s tactic of bigging his item up with ludicrous claims. Andy
I agree I’ve been contemplating buying a scrambler just for messing about, the model that seems most to increase in value or at the very least stagnate is the Urban Enduro. XH CK reference is about the hipsters who appear to have bought up the entire used market of R and K BMW and turned them into ‘one offs’. Be that a cafe racer, scrambler or some other variation of it’s original shape.

I was having a “buy a sensible commuter bike for once you idiot” moment. I had it for 3 weeks. Bought another GSXR1000. I’d rather sore wrists than have my legs play the part of the fairing on the motorway and look like a twat.
Ok so you liked how it looked but not how it rode……. By coincidence I pulled in for a bladder rest and Coffee on the M40 Monday coming home from Farnborough, chap working behind the till had his 02 GSXR parked outside. Looked a nice tidy bike had a brief chat with him and his was on 92k miles, there can’t be that many with that kind of mileage.
I liked the practicalities of it being belt drive and the storage space, it’s an ugly thing to behold IMO. It also had a FBMWSH which appealed after my previous bike was bugged with niggles.
