Seems cheap for the set up. I wonder what's wrong with it? He's got good feedback and a fair amount. Am I missing something wrong with this bike, other than the weired double bubble screen.

The guy bought some bits off me for it (forks and a front wheel) he said he’d bought a V2 from salvage and was restoring it. Never restored a motorbike before and didn’t seem too sure what he was doing.

Most folk would hesitate with the pitfalls like quite possibly getting insurance on a Cat D, plus selling it on in the future.
Hi @Archermav your comment '....putting mine up for sale....' got me wondering exactly what it is? Reason for asking is that I have been looking for a good 998 for some time (same old story, used to have one sold it and now regret doing so). I did see the ebay FE earlier today but don't like all the bling and Cat D status so not for me. Thanks.
What for price comparision reasons,?, i do find folk and this market very fickle, some buyers just don't take onboard the details when comparing vehicles, or is it the case they just want it for nothing.
Going through my annual "shall I sell it cos I don't ride it". Hard to price an FE so interested to see what a Cat D one can do.
