Not surprised really, it’s not a UK bike, it’s a Mk1 2000 model, it’s still on a Kph speedo (I assume the lights have been changed to UK spec because it had an MoT), no history prior to import, UK specialist service document only charged for 1 belt (did he fit 2 or not ?) and belts are due again now (add £600+ for dealer price). IMO, hierarchy is still, ‘02 slab side in red followed by ‘01 Mk2 in yellow with full Öhlins. Of the 3 currently on eBay, 2 have been up for sale since last year and are IMO, over priced for a 2000MY Showa fork model. The third one is more realistically priced, oddly imported in 2019 as well, priced at £7395. Andy
ive got an 02 mk2 yellow one with full ohlins and my mate ian said only 15 of them vs the common as muck red one at 64
I've never seen a 748 with white shoes before now, anyone else.? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19628882...KcajbiAdrlR/HoslGilcuPoKLQ|tkp:Bk9SR-Kn9pvGYw
You’re possibly correct from his World Ducati Week visits. Not exactly well presented, the top yoke must have been drilled to fit the fluid reservoir as I don’t recall mine having a hole there.
Nice enough but still a Mk1 748R, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/22604219...ub7ckcILobzCG22+4RRMPcJeAd|tkp:Bk9SR5jAg8LGYw. Not sure adding Öhlins forks and the later colour coded wing mirrors justifies the price tag though. Andy
959 Corse with a lot of questions to be answered! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18634194...OEC6vTLQvK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
You’re right, the seller is just over an hour away from me. If I was ‘really’ interested I’d be going for a look but at the moment I’ll just stick a low bid in a see what happens. I’ve noticed they’ve added more info into the descriptions too.
Yeah he’s probably been asked the same questions a few times and has added to the description as per eBay rules.
Racking my brains where I've seen this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/29627466...2-C9PlUISe6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS
