I was chatting to a guy the other day and he was saying how they used a load of these and similar as landfill and poured concrete over the lot as they were worthless at the time. He tries not to think about it

 

Probably an old wives tale as scrap metal and ally was always worth good coin, There have been bike buried in gardens though, a few have been uncovered.

I've got a couple of 350lc's and if you had a ride on one today you would be pretty disappointed tbh ( and don't even mention the mpg ).

 

I try not to look at old bikes as it upsets me what I sold them for.

 

Maybe, but only due to loosing some youthful enthusiasm, it frightens me what we used to get up to on the old hard skinny rubber tyres of the time!

 

Thats a looker, its never a dull ride when out on the lc, they have a great riding position. There spares are the same price as Ducati now

 

Paid £950 for mine brand new in the box from Hamiltons at chester le street .......

 

I think mine was about £800 and 6 months old

 

And don't even mention the three rd500's I sold ( got £2700 for the last black and red one ) !
