Yes I have and if it is genuine (no reason to believe it isn't) the seller ain't wrong about value for money. I was looking at a Paolo Casoli and a Rubens Xaus 748RS and they were priced in excess of £20,000 for just the bike. Andy

So the pre 2001 748R had Showa forks and despite this RS being raced in 2001 it could still be a 2000MY so Showa forks might be right. I have parts lists for 2000 and 2001 so I'll check later. Andy

 

Just found this article showing and talking about a 748RS00 and shows it fitted with showa forks.

Strange - that looks like a VERY OLD PHOTO

 

he does say that it's soaked in wd40 - maybe he meant the pic and not the bike ?

 

he also says that it's blue/yellow ???

 

I would have guessed Red and Silver too, amazing, those old faded photo's!
