Look!!! A massively overpriced 916 - there's a similar one for nearly half the price and a '94 one not selling at £8500 or offers. What's with the exclamations!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-91...635890?hash=item1ed06a2432:g:9gcAAOSwNWtZzqP9
Bit odd: 749 with 1098 fairing... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-74...707993?hash=item3622995499:g:udAAAOSw60VZ0Uk6
I've seen 1996/97 916's with that 94 stamp inside the fairings... If that's a 1994 model 916 (Strada) it's got the wrong discs and forks. Sprayed wheels, after market carbon, rear shock, levers and screen, they don't look like Termis either. Wrong fairing rivets. Sprayed seat hump etc etc. Perhaps it's one of those S models ?
Yes me too - the crazy Italians added further date clocks and left the old ones in. They are stamped in the months too so you know which were genuine 94 panels.
As we've said before, try finding an original, off the production line 1994 Strada.....they're like hens teeth.
that's why I love 'em, parts bin job - happens with cars as well, you think you have seen all variations of a 'model' and then you find they decided to fit old stock from several years earlier! The early carb 2-valver Monsters are a prime example when it comes to forks/instruments/indicator combinations.
Best laff I've had since breakfast http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Bo...889220?hash=item3623533384:g:KO0AAOSwb9dZv4XU
