For Sale Ebay Bikes

  1. I think his starting bid is the price of the bike myself. If I wanted one, I'd take a good look at it.

  2. £40k would be a very good bike for someone with the points I have listed. It's a good one imo. £45k isn't unreasonable.

BTW, I realise this isn't chump change I'm talking about here. :worried:

  3. Mine had done 8k and was a bit unusual though, so I’m not sure that you can draw much of a price parity with it.

  4. That’s what my head is telling me too. There’s probably no money to be made at 45k, but I’d wager there’s no money to be lost either, even if you put a few thousand miles on it.

  5. Nice bike, but did you paint the original bodywork @Nervy ? Or is that aftermarket?

  6. Buy it and look again in 10 years time. ;)

  7. I didn’t paint it, it’d already been painted. But I sourced a full set of original panels too, including a tank, which I sold along with the bike.

  8. I’d love to chum. It’d make me really happy to have another. I’ve never really missed a ‘thing’ before, and I’ve had lots of things previously due to being luckier than I deserve. Usually I just move on to the next thing and never look back, but this really has made me regretful. Strange the affect that bike had on me, when multiple wives have not*.

It also has permanently ruined my hearing, but that’s a small price to pay.

    * this is a joke, in case you’re reading, Dear. You’re easily one of my favourite wives.

  9. Good move :upyeah:

I'd like a tank to enlarge like @Dave did. Hen's teeth though. :(

  10. Yes, the range was woeful. That said, the range of my bladder is worse so it’s not really an issue.

  12. Lovely, though the best way to make it really go with the bike is if it singed your head whilst you were wearing it, and if the rear buckle was of a size that fits no one’s head anymore.

  14. I am uncomfortable with the readiness with which people are agreeing with this. I might just be misunderstood.

    I’m not though. I’m just a dick.

  15. One sold just before Christmas, 10,000 miles, Rosso, no GP7 exhaust for £37k if that is any help. Andy

  16. What geese?

  17. What's geese?

  18. The collective noun for goose.

Actually, I think that might be a gaggle. Is it the past participle or something? I’ve no idea. Sorry. Let’s just pretend this joke never happened, ok?

  19. Sorry ,can't let it go. It's under my skin and itching.
