  3. 3 previous owners, immaculate despite its mileage, no finance and no accident history all answered here :)
He will have had a lot of interest, but leaving the mileage off the ad would have caused most of his messages I think.

  4. so what do you think price wise
in five / ten years time the mileage will not matter:)

  5. So you won't be riding it for 10 years?

  6. no you got the wrong end of the stick Pal,,,24,000mls will look respectul in that time with no use:(:)

  7. exactly. So in order for the mileage to look OK in 10 years time you'd have to just stick it in the lounge and look at it.

  8. well its that or the misses:D:D:D:D

  12. Same 7 bikes have appeared relisted twice by different sellers, all 14 posts fraudulent. Andy

  13. Yeah, Proof that he / she is hacking accounts at will.

  14. Are they hacked accounts, then? I just assumed they were thier own accounts which he/ she/ they use to “sell” things that they don’t own and that probably don’t exist.

  15. Given that they have a lot of feedback and a lot of accounts are involved, I'd say they were hacked. If they were new accounts, I'd agree with you.

  16. Ah, I see. Do the people they’ve hacked ever get their accounts back? Must be quite hard getting sales again after that.

It occurs to me that whilst I’m no idiot (technically speaking) I’ve no idea how you’d hack an eBay account. Is it just iteration and persistence or does password hacking software exist that does the hacking for you?

  17. I had my ebay account hacked some time ago.By the time I had discovered it the scum had sold over a grands worth of Playstation games which he didn't have.I had hundreds of people contacting me for the items that never arrived. It was a bloody nightmare to get my account straight again.

  18. So, how did they hack it? I’m genuinely flummoxed as to know where anyone would start. Did you, for example, have a relatively easy to guess password or something? Not suggesting you’re in the wrong in any way, just wondering how the mechanics of this can function.

The irony is that if the hacker used his intelligence for good rather than lazy crime he’d probably make quite a bit of money.
