BLUE https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-g...m592562abc9:g:RGgAAOSwftNco3Sa&frcectupt=true OR RED https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GSXR750W...006028?hash=item1cce58bbcc:g:dwgAAOSwVq9cpNv6 As a future classic?
I'm normally a traditional blue & white guy, but red looks great in Srad. Think a future classic, last of the proper carb gixers.
Both are injected I have 3 carbed bikes...that is more than enough, especially considering the ethanol.
With prices at £3500 you have missed the boat on these - they have already doubled in value over the last couple of years, now it's a slow painful climb in value, only just keeping pace with inflation me thinks...….
I always prefered the blue/white on suzuki but this red/black combo is very nice.. TBH not following this investment hype, just want to ride one occasionally for 3-5 years. If it sells for the same £££ as I purchased for I am as happy as a sandboy. At the end of the day £3500 even if doubles in value in 5 years..by the time we add inflation/maintanance is basically not a lot left there. EDITED. I actually hate to own limited, low mileage collector bikes...afraid to crash them.(not necessarily a financial concern but mostly that there are very few left in one piece) My low mileage 998S FE.. 3 times intended to insure and ride..never happened.
Just been reading up on them ! For £3.5k buy one & enjoy, you won't loose on a decent one I'm guessing

For those of you that have the taller inside leg measurement https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-H...m4692dad8c7:g:qJAAAOSwnI9clfrJ&frcectupt=true
Yeah, just a S. (maybe sps internals ?!) Like alexko said, the value & rarity of fe/sp/sps/r models is making a lot of them difficult to ride. That & getting unicorn parts if you are unfortunate enough to chuck it up the road.
Not to mention unless pre-agreed value the insurance won't pay the market value... A 996 S with Foggy replica fairings, not sure why the seller specified genuine. Maybe he meant perfect matching on the fairing decals? Looking again he specified genuine followed by replica
Nice bike, but do your checks as this is a new ebay member https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-M...398263?hash=item5d8997feb7:g:WOgAAOSwKgtcoOKT
I always wonder with these, when it says 'Foggy replica' doe sit mean it's a genuine Ducati factory issue replica or one that someone has stickered up to look like Foggy's WSB bike? They state this one is genuine, it's been got a 'foggy' headlamp which is amazing but I thought the real factory reps had ltd edition plaques on the yoke and there's no pic of that in this ad. I'm not knocking the seller, just curious and wish to further my knowledge.
