916 strada,,, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-Duc...762818?hash=item23bdd5d4c2:g:62oAAOSwHm9c8U76 #8782 XH558, Today at 7:20 AM I wonder what the cat D will do to it's value - no reserve is rare on these. It could be a great buy
Didn't realise this beat the waiting list still goes on. Remember drinking in pub in 90's & all the waiths + strays did Z3 bmw & Mercs, selling there places on waiting lists.
Curious does it state on the log book if its a cat ? and what the reason/damage was to get to the cat.
Nothing on the V5 as far as I'm aware. There never has been in the past. Categories have changed to Cat A - "Scrap" Must be destroyed and old good for scrap. Cat B - "Break" - Beyond repair. Some parts can be salvaged Cat S - "Structural" - Have sustained structural damage but can be repaired Can N - "Non-Structural" - Replaced the old Cat C & D and covers varying levels of non structural damage. I think vehicles recorded under the old A, B, C & D system will continue to do so.
Even if I had all the money in the world, like @Exige , I wouldn't pay a speculator, I'd just stick my name on a waiting list myself. If someone sells a bike they have made a few quid on after owning it for a while, fair enough. Dealers have to make a living and offer you a back up service, so fair enough paying a premium. But a speculator paying a small deposit of a few hundred quid and trying to make £6k Worse than estate agents, they are.
I have spare vindaloo from yesterday and beer planned for the weekend so I'm fine until the works canteen on Tuesday
