  2. E had a Sachs Boge rear shock and no adjustable headstock.
Not always with an S, especially 2000 year models which is when they changed to the S&E variants.
On the S and pre 2000 models yes.

  3. Having been static for nearly 7 years, I wouldn’t let Jemspeed touch it. IMO, the bike needs a full bill of health check by a specialist either independent or if you can afford it, dealer who has an ‘older’ mechanic who knows the 916/748/996. Andy

  4. Having now read some of those threads, I retract my previous statement - just on principle!

  5. Can’t remember seeing any about jemspeed. Bad then?

  6. From memory not the easiest of dealers to deal with and most definitely advertise their wares at the very top of the market price. Remember the RCV213 Honda they wanted over £200k for ? Andy

  8. The same as this one.

  9. Im sure there was a red one on eBay recently or it could have been a post on here, fetching or trying to fetch good money, I've noticed the smaller bikes are on the up, 100cc,125,175,200.

  10. You are right re the prices. I have an eye out for an easy project but the prices at all capacities are simply too high to make sense. People are asking concourse money for bikes that need months of work and god knows what in parts.
    Roll on spring.

  11. To rebuild the above cc bikes, takes around £1000 + the bike and thats doing a proper rebuild.

  12. Very very similar, didn't have the leg guards though but did have the squeeze horn (honk honk). Was about 28 years ago.
