996 monoposta looks good/pricewise,and has others for sale. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1176876
Lovely bike. If it is an SPS (which it says on the tail unit) it looks VERY good value. Just wondering as the '99 model had Ohlins rear but Showa forks and this one has full Ohlins. I can't tell from the pics if the seat unit is a mono or not, can you?
He's not advertising as SPS and he seems to know what he's on about - lovely looker though, wish I had that kind of dosh right now
Not sure if it's a real mono straight from the factory with the Ohlins spec, but if it is then very good value for money, with a further discount applied of course.IMO
He knows it’s not an SPS alright - he’s selling one of those as well for 16k! https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1102508 and a Senna https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1101927 and a 999R https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1102514 Don’t forget the 851 https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1191359 Or the 748 sps https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1191385
Its a BP with an aftermarket MP seat, you can see the pillion footrest hanger brackets in a couple of the pics, still a very clean bike though.
I guess a 996SPS for £16,000 is possibly a good price too - looks like the pension fund is being raided
So, why are 916 Sennas so expensive? They are pretty bog standard apart from the colour scheme... and this one has a face on it!?
