yep, it’s standard Yellow with some very poorly executed decals added to mimick the Pikes Peak V4 IMO. They’d do better putting it back to ‘slow Yellow’.
Wasn’t the a Crash Dummy ad that had a Ducati in it looking like that? I want to see the owners leathers....
(I have removed the offer opsition it should not have been available , Please no more low ball offers bid to winless time it will be listed ) He has quoted on the description!!
That's changed since earlier this morning, he still had the 'make an offer' option available, although he did say in his blurb he wouldn't entertain any low ball offers. I've no interest in it I was just flagging it had been relisted for anyone who may have an interest
found this Guzzi on a FB page may be of interest to a Guzzi fan https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...g5tH6RZnfIfywXtu_Xz8YyIutDsFUE42bK99LsGTpCT3X photo.php He wants £3500 for this A very very rare find: a genuine Moto Guzzi 1000S, the first ever factory retro-bike. A new Guzzi in 1990 styled like the 1970s V7 Sport The frame number (VV5068*) makes this an early one - the most desirable model with the 40mm Dellorto pumper carbs. Only 1360 1000S were made in total. This has the spec; big carbs, first generation dials etc, of the earliest 1000S, but looks to have been registered a couple of years later in the UK (1992) A genuine barnfind, from a country-house estate This is currently a non-runner, needing paint, a tidy-up and missing just a few parts: rear disc, silencers, footrest hangers (common to LM3,4 and 5, T4, Mille GT etc so not hard to find - in fact Ive been offered some and can point you in the right direction as well as some handmade stainless 'silencers' which a friend has, and will sell). Most parts are also available from Gutsibits or Teo Lamers 2nd hand The bike has been fitted with an 1100 motor, as 1000S engines are hens-teeth; but more cubes is never a bad thing.... It has heated grips, adjustable forks and Koni Dial-A-ride shock-absorbers Box of bits - indicators, alternator etc will come with the bike The V5C is in my name, with just 3 previous owners. I have other paperwork showing a lot of money has been spent on the engine - valve-seats, cam-followers etc, plus regular servicing and plenty of dealer servicing-stamps for the engine Hard to put a price on this, as complete runners have made big money in the past -1000S change hands for £10-12k IF you can even find one. Plenty of margin to make a desirable bike and still be up on the deal, or an awesome 1100cc Guzzi cafe racer The Bike is in Bath BA1 I can recommend a courier, whos working daily during the CV19 outbreak, and comes through Bath weekly
I'll take them down then just noticed he got his ad locked private the pillock. No I'll leave them up that way if there is interest I can message him for someone.
The advert says a really nice Cafe racer, yeah right..a winter hack for under a thousand pounds should be the description,IMO
