I think that’s the point of the internet mate tbh. People have opinions and express them. Who knows this thread may have helped sell the bike in the end

748R Coming back to the 748R discussed above I just had a conversation with the seller and can confirm it’s not a scam it’s a genuine early 748R and I’ve seen all the photographs to prove that. The seller came across as very genuine and made an honest mistake when pricing it. It’s a shame there are so many scams on eBay that cause one’s initial thoughts to be ‘watch out’ when a genuine deal comes along
Agreed if a genuine one with a HPI check for peace of mind, but also remove the numbers / chessboard on the fairing & nosecone, and it will look fantastic. #repaint it yellow!
I'm sorry but I do not agree. Calling someone a scammer without any real evidence to back up your claim can be damaging to someone's livelihood. The point of any forum or site is to have and give correct informative, not just post or say things on a hunch or a feeling. Anyway, its all cleared up now, thank god I heard about the post otherwise it would be all over the internet that I'm a scammer and the bike is not genuine.
It's deffo a scam, let me do you a favour and take it off your hands so you don't get any more internet grief If I had £5k I'd have had it by now, GLWS - and maybe alter the price upwards a bit
