Who knows but it's a decent 888 for the going rate or a cheeky bid. Personally I'd be looking at the 888 Project bike to be found earlier in this thread Ones a runner but the other isn't far off of running and would probably make the more "Tricker" 888. Steve R

That’s odd, according to the history of a recent auction of a 1958 125 TR, MV were producing 4-stroke 125cc bikes having superseded them in the mid 1950s. I notice a comment on their FB page, the bike is dismissed as a “homemade racer based on a road bike” which is probably very close to the truth. Andy
