How is this scam supposed to work then? Is it on the hope that it's so much of a bargain, somebody will pay for it without seeing the bike?
Sad to say, sort of.......that my St2 is on ebay, hope it goes to a person who enjoys it or if it doesn't reach reserve I'll break it and maybe use some bits on my 750ss, front end maybe?
This is a bit tidy............ DUCATI MONSTER 800 S2R, 2006, 5063 MILES, FULL SERVICE HISTORY, STUNNING EXAMPLE | eBay
To me it is a bit of a play on words calling it a Cafe Racer, as you say more like a 749 in bits with the fairings taken off.
They usually clone a genuine sellers advert and drop price right down.If you call the throwaway £10 Nokia they usually say there is a man coming in morning with readies but you can reserve it subject to inspection with a £250 refundable deposit! Of course - then they have your card details and security code. Then they shoot up the West End and buy some £900 Hermes belts
It's dropped a bit from the original £40k asking price. Suzuki RG500 Gamma BRAND NEW never started or ridden investment not RD500 | eBay
