  3. There are two or three around this way with gents in the driving seats and if you want your freedom later in life then why not.:upyeah:

  4. This seller seems to have three damaged repaired bikes up, so possibly insurance recorded.
Edit: messaged seller, its cat N no response as to whether or not the tank protectors were fitted before or after drop.

  5. Would you buy a bike from somebody who can't be bothered to tidy up his tools and containers of used engine oil etc before taking the images?

But most of all I don't think I could trust anyone with Astroturf in their back garden.
    Shouts lazy Bas***d to me.:)

    Nasher.

  6. Yes, I certainly would, to answer the first one Simon, each to their own, and all that.

  7. Sadly I currently also have astroturf:(
just haven't got around to ripping it out.

The same seller also has this up which seemed an alright price for a 2018 monster although I havent followed the pricing of them closely

  9. Chris, I understand your point of view, but in my world the care and attention put into the advert, including the images, reflects on the quality of the work that's been carried out on the bike and the character of the guy that's had his spanners on a bike that you could be doing 120mph on the way home from collecting.
For a bike of this value, all the crap laying around just isn't good enough.

And I'm sorry, even the astroturf says to me that the guy is a lazy bugger who will take the easy option in life, which again reflects on what's been done to the bike.
It's certainly not the best option for the poor dog in the images of one of the other bikes.

    Nasher.

  10. Understand yours also Simon, if I hadn't stumbled upon one of the most knowledgeable and efficient Automotive Engineers I have met in my life around 40 years ago then I might have tended to agree with you more. I might have a picture or two somewhere. I don't think people start out "unorganised" in this manner, it's often a shuffling of priorities that are forced on them but that they do (become unorganised) shouldn't mean we should necessarily jump to conclusions about anything else about them.

  11. Three bikes in total, is he accident prone or what.

  12. I have been watching this Cat N 959 to see what it went for - never ceases to amaze me what people will pay for these bikes. Still seems too much even for the basis of a track bike given the damage.

  13. ^ on the same page with you there, i've followed many bikes through that company with a view to a buy, partly because they are just down the road, but each time i've pulled out as price risen far higher than i expected.
