As expected, the advert contains information inconsistent with others and whilst I’m happy to to be proved wrong, my memory is telling me the 916SPA was not available in the UK so how they make it a UK example, I don’t know. Andy
From the advert listing These were brought to the US as AMA homologation rules required the bikes to be in the US for a specific amount of time, and once that time lapsed the bikes that were unsold were shipped out of the US and were sold in other countries. There were only about a dozen that got sold for by dealers in the US so even though this was an “SP America” only a small portion of the bikes stayed in the US.

The same name as his ebay account's who was the chap on the day, plus he's many other classic Ducati's in his garage at that location. The strange thing's that i looked at that 900SL final edition in 2016 down that way, when i revisited in 2020... there was a housing estate in those lush green fields.
