never sold on the "barn find" sales model - just when did they ever supply pictures? unless they can authenticate with DNA tested properr hay in the Termis and chicken egg in the airfilter box then I would walk away.

Look at this on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-M...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 Always fancied a early original one.
They are lovely to ride, and actually rising in value at the moment by the look of it, along with the 750. Probably as the supply of cheaper Carbie bikes dries up. Obviously if you can find a 1000 they are a step up again.
When my 999 is finished I may have to make a very difficult decision about which one to keep, the 999 or my 1000SS. I think both could be considered as investments at the moment. The 1000 is lovely to ride but uncomfortable after 1/2hr. The 999 feels more comfortable just sat on it in my workshop, but I think may be 'too much' for me performance wise. I'll need to decide which compliments my M1000 best, which is going nowhere. But I'm sure whichever one goes I'll end up regretting it.
That's always the way, after rocking up at the South of England show sunday i just didn't see anything that i owned out and about, so maybe i'll keep them based on that.
