For Sale Ebay Bikes

Discussion in 'Ducati Bikes For Sale' started by Rob, Jun 13, 2014.

  1. Just had a look on eBay and they seem around 10k, this one has a good looking paint job and one off pipes?which will cost around £1500, I would like to see a few close up photos, problem with two strokes is the price’s have gone through the roof so at today’s prices must be around 9-10k
Yam 350lc sale for around 8k and the Aprilia rs has generally been a bit dearer but the Lc has caught them up.

  2. seller has 9 bikes half way through a bidding week, and none with a single bid.
    What? - I didn't say a word..

  3. There are loads of them out there at the moment (bit like there are dozen's of Pikes Peaks suddenly) and they don't seem to be shifting only 2 auctions have sold since Sept and the most expensive one for 6.3k. I've see a high number of imports too so they price in Japan must be fairly low.

It's a pretty replica if you are a Rossi fan. The hype around 2-strokes is driving the price more than the market I'd say.

  4. Just seen that although they do look quite “niche” items tbf

Presumably you think he’s over priced everything?

My pet hate is people who go through their woes with tyre kickers in the footnote of their addys.

“I’m not arsed mate it’s fleabay deal with it and I’m out.”

    etc..

  5. All strokes has been importing and selling 2 strokes on eBay for ages , they range from total nails to slightly better and like all 2t bikes now they are pricey (over priced imho).
The reason they import them is Japan is the only place left with decent amounts of 2 strokes. If you want really expensive look at Fastline they have an Nsr for 19k.
Oh and the tail light on that Rs looks crap too :grinning:

  10. There have been a lot of 1st gen Panigale V4’s for sale, even one or two 2nd gen since the latest and greatest 3rd gen was released. 3 owner, base model with a service stamp missing (should be 5 stamps) and no mention of recalls. A lot of bike for £13500 though. Andy

  11. Plus it's a buyers market at this time of year, so you could push for less money and possibly get away with it, depending on his financial situation.

  12. If that bid had been accepted by the seller, then from the Mathewsons website, both the buyer and the seller would have incurred auction fee of 7.5% plus VAT (£1.5k), but it's not obviously clear from the rules if VAT on the hammer price would also be due from the buyer.

So if hammer price was £17.5K seller would receive £16K and buyer would pay at least £19K!

Interesting to see if it comes up at the next auction.

  13. @Mr Bimble
