  1. My neighbour is having a problem with rats
    Found where they are running
He has put down bate and I have blocked holes my side
Think they have buried under his new shed next to my fence
A lot of the social housing is being pulled down near to us and I'm guessing that as they are renewing sewers etc they are heading our way :Jawdrop:

  2. F-me..........I know rats and mice in the loft is bad, but bloody hell; I wouldn't want Jaguars or Lions living or dying up there........

..........and I never knew Jaguars were rodents, either!

  3. We have a very large black & white cat that hangs out in our garden which I presume belongs to somebody in the street.
When I discovered a mouse problem in our garage I went over to it,picked it up made fuss of it,wandered around to the garage,
chucked it in and shut the door for the night.
Result !! Let it out in the morning, four very dead, headless mice lined up on the garage floor and a very happy moggy. :)

  4. My cat eats mice heads too.........perhaps the brains make cats intelliigent?

  5. A lot of people don't like baiting vermin in the house because of bodies in the building. I'm the opposite. That's the best place for them. If you're going to bait, bait indoors with the fastest acting bait you can find, which is why I use Jaguar. I never bait rodents outside or with cheap or slow acting stuff because other creatures such as barn owls pick up the dead or dying casualties and get poisoned themselves.

  6. Trouble is, if the rodents die in the roof space where you can't get at them, they stink.....

..........mice tend to smell a bit like rotting apples and it lasts for about a day.........

.......rats stink to high heaven and it lasts for at least three weeks really, really strong (a smell to make you gag).......and thereafter for several months as it gradually nearly disappears......

.........unfortunately the decomposing rats not only leave a lot of liquid which seeps into the plasterboard and permanently stains it; but also, when the flies and bugs have got at it, then the chances are maggots will start dropping out of light fittings or any nooks and crannies in the ceilings.
