Emilia Romagna Gp (spoilers)

  1. Cynically, Michelin kowtowing to Ducati who are desperate to find something physical to hang an excuse on, for their no1 rider’s (unsurprising) failure to finish the race. More subjectively, if there was a physical reason for Pecco falling off, make sure it doesn’t happen again. IMO, mind fug and not for the first time. Andy

  2. Would it make…an excuse?

  3. Watched all the quali, practice and sprint.
Simply put, Bagnaia was pushing harder than ever…
Re: Michelin investigating, why? At one point Baggy was fastest on track. Your not fastest on track with sub-standard tyres!

  4. Not making excuses for anyone but it did look like he had some kind of issue with his tyres but I would suspect more to do with set up than anything else.
You’d (as in Michelin) investigate the data as a matter of course id imagine. Same as every other riders.
Just another click bait headline I’ve come across since.
93 commenting on Eneas pass garnering the most reaction by far of course lol.

  5. We’ve all commented on how *processional it’s been this year. It was noticeable when pecco overtook Jorge he opened a gap that in 99.9% of races would have seen him win not see Jorge and Enea bloody bastianini pass within a lap or two ha. His usual smoothness and acceleration out of the corners wasn’t there.
Again not making excuses but we haven’t seen it previously this year so why did it happen on Sunday?
New parts from the Monday test that aren’t working in race trim?
His starts have been shit recently too.
