That’s great - started on the button and idled beautifully. Would have been more impressive with monster flames etc!
And this one is most deffo only for steam engine nerds... 311,412 Ft/lbs of torque @ 17 rpm, 1008 hp.
And at the other end of the scale we have this little beauty. Some may remember it from a Top Gear article on TV many years ago. Even the gear box works...
Very impressive, but I can't help thinking, that if you are going to all that trouble, time and expense to recreate a 1/3 scale vehicle. Why not build it 3 times bigger then you can actually enjoy driving it?
Not an engine start up but 10 minutes of a Ferrari 275 GTB being hammered across Paris in the early morning....
Although one of the comments to the clip... "Yes, the sound was from a Ferrari 275GTB but it was dubbed over the original audio. The car that did the driving was a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9, not exactly a sporty car."
