  1. Running leaner. Andy

  2. I think he states its running richer, not leaner.

  3. Well , not something I think about to be honest, my bike is for fun . 2K in Spain never worried about fuel consumption .
A good tune should not use more fuel but make the bike run better , I will keep an eye out over the next few outings to see .
Lost the trip info etc after I set the the dash back from kmh to mph just before the return ferry oops
One thing I have noticed is that the bike runs cooler , well the fan now kicks in early. Not like in Spain standard bike at 107 degrees, I did panic a bit then .
With it running richer I mean the fuelling is as it should be , so may not need to spank it’s ass as much now with the extra pull it has , well let’s see , but fuel is fun . I had a C90 oncecnow that was great on fuel , and for me , as I have said, mpg is not a concern.
When in a group ride / tour the group is only as good as the weakest link , and you cover and aid that link , if this becomes you you will be looked after .

  5. It will be interesting to know how the mpg is affected nonetheless. I don’t want a bike that currently does just 39mpg to suddenly start doing close to 30mpg.
The tank range is the more important part here.

  6. I read that the other way round but on re-reading, yes, you are right. Andy

  7. Just checked the consumption based on the reset and 211 miles back from Plymouth via the A38 M5 back to Worcester ,
40.6 mpg , think in Spain I was closer to the 30 / 32 mpg but with no re fuel issues so would expect not too much difference with the tune as the bike should be fuelled well. Normally we need a break after 100 + miles so the range works well for a coffee / fag stop.

  8. Depends what you're doing surely? If you're out for a blast then flash it, if you're touring then revert to standard. To me this sounds brilliant as if you're touring but have a day or two on local roads around your hotel without the luggage etc. then this could truly be the best of both worlds.

    Either way I'm very interested.

  9. Brent tune?

Not sure I’d let this bloke loose on my bike…

  10. I did hear negative comments when these people first started up. Never catastrophic, but only that the gains were never really worth the premium.

Seems like they have moved on a lot since. I agree with what you're saying but I think it looks promising personally

  11. I forget we’re on an international forum! David Brent (pictured above) is a well known, in the UK, comedy character.

And yes, having to explain my joke means it was crap!

  12. Thats the same way I have looked at it, as it's easy to switch maps you can tailor the bike for the situation you want to use it in. I think that the Stage 1 will give you the extra bit I think the V4 needs as bike , but the Stage 2 will be for the Spain trips (solo) etc and use the Stage 1 for everything else as it seems (so far) to make the same difference as the full race system and the Ducati Evo Map and feels a bit better well. But early days. You never know, may well leave the Stage 2 in and enjoy myself. I will try to keep a record of the fuel for those who are interested / concerned but it should be okay for me.

  13. I know they're a bit different out there but Norfolk isn't that 'foreign' :D

  15. If anyone tries the BT Tune on a V2 Streetfighter, please post the results. The bike is great, but I would like a little more low to midrange torque like I had with my 2017 Supersport.

  16. Having ridden one the last couple of days whilst my Multistrada gets some love and attention, I’m not sure the V2 engine will give you that low down or mid range torque, it’s a revver and needs to be 5000rpm+ much like the new 973cc engine in the Monster and SuperSport. Andy

  17. *BUMP*

So how is the bike still running with the re-flash? Just curious on a longer term thoughts and feelings about it?

Also, came across this the other day, although isn't yet available on their product range.
