Too true - Does the bike start at all? it might be worth phoning Motorapido and talk them through the issues you have. They might be able to come up with a solution....If its just an engine mgmt light it might reset itself? Does it ride ok??? Aylesbury do servicing for loads of bikes as they franchise for a fair few hence why there lead times are poor. I woudl rather wait and use a solus Ducati dealer than a multi franchise one
Jason as the guys at Hemel are great, dealt with them for over 6 years. Also the guys at AMS in Tewskbury, who took in my SDR after the coolant pipes blew off on the motorway and fixed it under warranty, willingly. I've used AMS ever since. Investing in "Relationship Equity" pays dividends.
In fairness to dealers (and I don't work in the trade I promise) they tend to have all the bikes in that get serviced over winter, and they survive through the winter on service jobs so that may be why they are trying to delay warranty stuff. Just saying it's possible as it's not 'money in the till'. Pls don't think I am being unsympathetic, did you find that Snells could do it? what about Reading Ducati, not super close to the train but still do-able, you may even be able to get a loan bike.
They've obviously learnt a thing or two since they were a Kawasaki dealer! Bad experience back then put me off an RC8 as they are my local dealer
