nope. if you listened to the punditry and comentators on both sides you would of known where we are comming from. but maybe i will. so insecure cringmisters. jeezo. good luck in the final. i will stick with the rugby.
Well he’s a twat then. Wenger is Mr Arsenal to me. Oversaw all their glory. I’m a Leeds fan but whenever I hear Arsenal I think Wenger…
Gym was XY deserted yesterday. I was the only bloke in there and a load of chicks. Was marvellous. I’m all for this soccer stuff
Don’t listen to them. At halftime go in the kitchen. Make a cuppa or have a beer. That’s what I do And I don’t sit down to watch it til bang on kick off…
Found quite puzzling to be honest, he’d never been to an Arsenal match not ever. Worked with a few supposed football team fans that have never been to their teams stadium. Worked with a Liverpool ‘fan’who was about to go to Turkey for 2 weeks when they had the final Champions league match in Istanbul. I got offered a pair of tickets for £500 each offered them to him, he turned them down the pollock. Said the 4 hour coach trip was too far, told him never to mention his love of Liverpool again.
I remember when I used to be out for a run, I used to have run that little bit harder when I saw a fit chick approaching from distance. It was fucking murder. I’d have to stop, buckled over with hands on knees, when I got round the next corner….
JG has looked bright and exciting but the quality of the final product hasn't quite been there. That used to be true of Sterling and he had a tendency to dribble just for the sake of it and run himself into a cul de sac or give the ball away, but he's releasing the ball earlier and better these days. I think it's a confidence thing, not just for him but the team as a whole. Rather than just knocking the ball around ineffectually in the last third which has been an infuriating feature of England's play for decades, they now have more intent and belief about their build up play. JG being subbed seems to have been tactical to allow a more defensive formation, so hopefully he will get another go and come good in the final.
Agree that sometimes JP has a tendency to give the ball away but he's also made some vital saves and broken up attacks and set pieces that have kept England in the tournament.
Jack cant do much when he gets on in the 68th minute of these games. Still, there's a final to play and Super Jack may get a say in that yet? Wish all the press would stop talking about Man City buying him
Some of the issues with the quality of final product could well be because he isn't being played enough and isn't getting into the rhythm of the way the team play in the games themselves rather than in training. Catch 22....
Having been off football for a few years, my subjective view is: Sterling runs and am runs but isn’t penetrating. Pickford is a good shot stopper but the other stuff the top hours have he seems to lack. The young lad on right wing seems to have no idea what he’s going to do. Just kick and run. We are trying to play like Italy, ball retention and co, which is the most boring game ever (how anyone can watch Italian football is beyond me!). Seems that we only adopt the left flank: Sterling moved to the right when Greilish came on and almost dropped entirely out the game for a while until he started come back left again. But when they have periods of penetration and up the pace it’s exciting like English football is!
who cares about the post mortem? we are in the final so lets get behind our boys and talk tactics and gameplan vs italy. and lets not forget that southgate is a living legend.
