I've been keeping AntiheroX busy in between sections of his grand tour with a commission for an original artwork. Having loved some of his paintings on his own website (AntiHero (as well as being hooked on the various trip reports - Coast to Coast, Around the World, plus the little Scrambler diversion in Death Valley) I asked him to immortalise my beloved Ducati Monster 696 on canvas (ok, gessoboard). I didn't just want a picture that could be any old 696 - I wanted my Monster, and sent Dennis a few photos of it in tour mode (Kriega tailpacks, satnav and the World Ducati Week 2012 and 2014 bands on the fork leg). I'm currently up to 44,200ish miles in just under 6 years, and my ambition is to get it to 100,000 miles. I'm absolutely delighted with the final result of all his hard work.
