Good morning! I saw you had been in the forum posting replies. That's a good sign! My husband and I went to the annual International Motorcycle Show in Minneapolis and saw this bike and it's builder. He is a machinist by trade and donates stem cells. He customized an Indian and uses it to promote Be The Match. It has decals on it and he provides literature. He styled it like a sport bike to attract young people. Indian also recognized his efforts and has invited him to put it in their displays too. Very cool imo! I mentioned your situation and he suggested taking a pic, allowing me to sit on the bike, to post for you. He hopes you love it. I would have taken a pic of a red Ducati if Ducati would have been there. Interestingly, many people noticed their absence...too bad for all of us! For anyone that wants to see a thread that follows the build go to this link http://www.indianmotorcycles.net/threads/indian-scout-sportbike.45625/ Best Wishes
Awww lovely pic of you and the Indian much appreciated Yes I spent a bit of time trawlling through as I had the concentration and you all in here keep me going with your tales When you say donate stem cells you mean for the likes of people like me and not ducati stem cells I’m so appreciative of anything that people donate be it blood stem cells etc it’s a selfless act worth life for us so I thank anyone who does from the bottom of my heart When I receive these gifts I always thank that person for doing so in my mind Feeling all tearful now Right where’s my bins
Cos I can't be arsed to check back......wotcha doing in Cheltenham @Ducbird ? I thought you were home? Xx
Hi Ducbird, How was your snowy Sunday? After all you have been through lately and here you are back on bins patrol. You definitely seem much more chipper and thats a great sign! Every day a little better and before you know it you will have turned the corner.
I was @El Toro Until I got a blood clot in my neck and the pain was horrendous so back I came early hours wednesday morning
My snowy Sunday has consisted of watching the snow a warm hospital bed a moment of sickness a nibble of dinner and an afternoon nap while phone charged Good day I think
Oh dear. It sounds like you are feeling a tad better now though. As I've said before, just take one day at a time, don't push yourself too much, and enjoy life. Things like this put everything into perspective.
