Cartagena to me is like Knockhill to the Scottish. Even when I do a 3 dayer there I go home every night. Unless there’s a bunch of us going and in that case I’ll stay in the hotel with the lads. Cartagena itself is a nice little town
I'm sure it is a nice little town. Isn't that where Hannibal set off from with his elephants? Or have I got that way off?
I found Estoril to be the most difficult euro track I have been too. Separates the men from the boys. Don’t think I made the cut! Great places to go in the evening
Mate I was looking through them today and noticed the middle and advanced was fully booked just middle and lower remaining so I was like bugger its gonna go so just booked and gonna hope for the best with work.
Yep. Got one Focused in April and a NL in May so will be good to know the standards for future plans.
I'm just a little concerned with the logistics. Bike being back in time from the preceding trip...I'm so playboy...
Focussed get a lot of stick, but I've been with them quite a few times now and not had a problem. They've started using stillages now as well which most seem to prefer
I’m doing the dates here and your right it will be tight. Last day on track at the Focused gig at Almeria is the 1st of May, first day on track for the NL trip at Estoril is the 25th, bike pick up date yet to be confirmed. I mean bit late now but do we all reckon that’s a big enough gap?
I'd guess the drop off (swindon) for Estoril will be the w/e before - 16th May. Depends how soon FE get your bike back for collection, IME usually a week, sometimes 2 after the event. Looking like you might be picking up (FE) and dropping off (NL) same day....
Also bear in mind that the 1st Might be your last day at Almeria, but the event goes on for a few more days, so the transport home will prob leave then.
That's the no limits racer only trip, right ? I looked at that one, but I'll have my 13year old with me and he's only doing his ACU the week before, so we've booked 27th for 4 days as a normal NL trackday instead Cartagena's no GP track, but it's a decent little track with a mix of corners and when you string it all together, it's one of the more rewarding circuits
Yeah I reckon 4 days is gonna be bloody hard work but I can't wait What's your lad riding? There's some rapid young nippers on those little KTMs
Probably a wise idea G seeing as id imagine they’d stick your lad out with the 600’s which is borderline warfare isn’t it looking forwards to seeing him on track soon!
