Euro Trackdays Cancelled

I’m on the redline Portimao trip at the start of October. Hope that’s not effected

 

At this point the NL 9th to 11th Oct trip is still on so unless the circuit moves something onto those dates or the Redline trip you should hopefully be ok.

 

Aragon now officially cancelled which means a credit note from NL.

 

Whilst not strictly a trackday, here’s the latest from one of my local race schools which is somewhat encouraging!

 

3 weeks and no reply from Focused Events, yet they're still plastering social media to get people to book more events. Just emailed them again but also starting the process of trying to claim back the money through my credit card companies. Annoyingly I put the deposit on one and final payment on another so double the pain!

I know FE get a lot of stick but never really had any problems in the past but lack of communication means I'll probably never use them again, unless they save the day next week.

 

Although we have paid our TDOs, I think this is really in the hands of the track owners.
With half the season's bookings cancelled or delayed they will prioritise whatever remains whenever they are allowed to operate again.
What will get priority, major events like MotoGP, WSB etc...or TDs....?

The thing for me is usually the extra day on track for the same price as No Limits is a huge pull. Yes the organisation and communication is a bit shit but once you’re actually on track it’s all fine and forgotten!

 

Two day Yamaha race school with R1 hire etc. I guess that would be a fairly good deal?
I haven’t used them but would love to do Magny-Cours sometime!

 

yeah i noticed after it was 2 days and if that includes bike and some tuition id say its a cracking price. id need more details but could be up for some of that when we are out of this situation...

 

Lot of reports of Ryan Air fucking people about over refunds.

Tbf I've got about 400 quids worth of easyjet ones to try and get back and apparently there being a right bunt of... Runts
