1200 DVT Ever Red Extended Warranty

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by AndyH2016, Jul 18, 2016.

  1. I was told only on new bikes six months after 1st registration, I doubt they would cover 2014 bikes?

  2. I sent my Email to Ducati UK questioning the reasoning behind how they were issuing warranties, as suggested, but have heard nothing in over a week, has any one else heard back?

  3. No I have not heard anything to my email either.

May be time to write a letter - bit more formal.

  4. Not heard anything back either, been a week now, suppose they were expecting a response and chose to ignore it

  5. Just received a reply from Ducati UK regarding my email about how upset I am over the new Ever Red extension warranty not being available to my 2015 bike as promised by my dealer:

    Thank you for your correspondence.

Your enquiry has been forwarded to the Aftersales Manager for clarification on the Ever Red Warranty.

    Yours sincerely
    Bobbie
    Aftersales department

  6. I wait with eager anticipation

  7. Amazing ! Just received an identical reply, along with the July Ducati News letter.

  8. Can you send me the email address you had the reply from as i still have not heard anything.

I sent the original email to reception@ Ducati.com so just want to be sure it was correct email

    Thanks

  9. Sent it from the Ducati UK website, filled in their on line form in the Customer Service section

  10. [email protected]

I sent it from the Ducati.com website.

  11. Thanks

  12. Got my extended confirmation through today.

Expensive but if history repeats itself, probably worth it.

  13. Mine came through today also - now covered to Mar 2020

  14. Rub it in, why don't you :) , there's loads of us would love to be able to do that with our 2015 bikes.

  15. I'd quite happily extend my 2015 bike given the chance. Seems like an opportunity missed by Ducati.
They should open the window to extend any bikes currently still under warranty with a cutoff date for applications, subject to usual service history restrictions, etc.

  16. 2015 was the release of the first batch of DVT's.
I don't think they missed an opportunity, more dodged a bullet..

    ( Yeah I know, I'm not funny)

  17. Emailed customer care yesterday got a reply today but only asking for my chassis number. See how long the next reply takes

  18. I know it's a DVT thread but I've an 899 so hopefully more reliable :grinning:

  19. I seen it on the screen with my dealer definitely references 2014 bikes but it's the 7 mth shite that is total nonsense and will annoy quite a lot of loyal customers...
