mt cats old....was born in my wardrobe at the same moment the royal yacht Britannia pulled ont of hong kong harbour after the hand over,anyhows she has taken to walking in circles and weowing loudly (dementia ? ) and I think she is deaf and blind, at the moment she is sleeping in front of the fire.think its getting close to that time though epressed:
That's the trouble with pets , you get them as babies and in no time they are dying of old age , maybe she has an ear problem , not uncommon , sometimes you can tell if its an ear problem , the can have some "discharge" and usually they wont let you have a good look ..... might not be as bad as you think.... sounds like you might be going to take her to the vet any way
I have discovered what is hurting the cats. They're not getting bitten at all. It's razor wire, they play near the pointy parts and keep getting caught on there.
Unfortunately three of the 5 cats ended up being put down due to horrid infections after repeated injuries. I was pretty cut up about it, but they couldn't have survived. Thankfully the task was performed by someone else and I wasn't present. In slightly better news... This young man is coming to live with me. I will be naming him Albert.
Our dog is called George, he will be called Albert. It's just a name that fits and is in keeping with our (my) royalist sentiments! Plus I wasn't allowed to call him Loki. I'm considering removing Mrs Pingping from permanent member status so she loses veto power.
