  1. Installed my Akro full de cat over the holidays, bloody expensive but a work of art, and sounds lovely.

  2. Hi
I have a 2010 base model with Arrow end can and de-cat pipe.Sounds great , panniers fit OK and easy to remove end can for taking the back wheel off ( 1 nut + bolt and 1 spring ) . When I first fitted it I had to also fit an exhaust valve eliminator ( plug-in ) to stop the engine fault light coming on.
I had a map installed by Neil at Cornerspeed on his Rexxer Machine, he was also able to switch off the exhaust valve on the ECU so I didn't need the plug-in.
A mate has a 1200S with LeoVince decat and Termi end can. sounds fantastic , but when he has his wife on the back , she moans about noise and fumes in slow moving traffic. that problem was easily solved, he never invites his wife out with him.
    Kev.

  3. Has anyone any experience of keeping the original end can and using a decat link pipe? If so which decat link pipe is the best option? Thanks in advance.

  4. Discussed quite a lot. Be prepared for jet-plane noise. Way too loud IMHO (and many others too) :)

  5. Really keen to know if the Mivv full system fits with the Ducati panniers?

  6. Already been answered my friend, I asked that very same question.....Yes, fit perfectly, take a look at post #15 on the first page.

  7. Soloman, wanted to check on a full system versus slip ons. The MiVV site says only the slip ons will work with panniers while some folks have mentioned on the web that they have fitted full systems.

  9. I have the full system on my DVT, Mivv Suono and the panniers fit perfectly.

Mivv only state that they do not fit as the clearance between the end can and the pannier is reduced slightly between that and the Termi, so Mivv won't take responsibility for melting your panniers and state it won't fit...but they definitely do.

  10. Thank you! I'm keen to get the speed edge full system. This is a big confidence boost.

  11. No worries, I looked at the Speed Edge too but got a really good deal on the Suono so ended up with that.

The Speed Edge also fits with panniers, but less clearance the either the Suono, or the Termi. I've stuck heat reflective pads directly onto the pannier, behind the standard heat shield, just as a precaution.
