oh yes, thats right, I will look at ducati.ms as there defo was some other prices there. but the ebay was prob the cheapest, I am not sure if VAT 'applies' to this as its an outside of UK purchase - import tax yes defo, but Vat prob not. which makes it around 300 quid range (I think ?). everytime I buy gear from the states it either arrives at home or I get a post office go and pay duty notice but usually its only a few quid anyway... bugs
No no, you definitely pay VAT....well, uhm, or you are supposed to anyway... ;-) Maybe the seller marks your items as 'gifts', or in some such way that VAT isn't applied.... I posted a link to BR Special Tuning where they are doing it for £395
That'll be the one Chris was telling me about when he was mapping mine, which came out only marginally behind at 157. I actually prefer the look of the QD setup, but a barely used Termi system dropped into my lap for £800 so I couldn't refuse.
I could be tempted to swap my set up for a barely used QD or Full Termi at the right price... ;-) £800 is a bargain!
Bob, repeat that again slowly please....CJS tuned and onehundredandfiftynine at the rear wheel? Mother of God! Mine sound like Christ laughing at any speed without the madmans fettling (CJS) let alone super-tuned!!! i paid about the same here in Oz (converted). 159 at the rear wheel? Seriously?
Good deal that Doodle, cant fault ya going for it at that price Yup Chris worked his magic on mine and sqeezed out 159bhp! At the back wheel! I remember he was pretty pleased with the results to!! He said..Most powerfull one to date when he did it earlier this year. Like he says they are all different, thats the benefit of a custom map. It goes like stink now! Happy days
QD. Do it! I implore you. It just crushes every other system for sound. It's not over the top nor too Euro like the poor Termi. Mated with FatDucs and a DP air filter; happy frickin' days. ....and then you take it to Chris ))
QD available from German ebay for approx £1,145 delivered. Man, I wish you hadn't started this thread..... Wonder if they would do a group buy discount??? Ducati Multistrada 1200 ab 2010 Komplettanlage 2-1-2"Hard Rock" von QD Exhaust | eBay
uh oh, shit...shit...my credit card just wee'd a little... its seriously close to what I would stretch to...

Oooooh, so £13-1400 odd for the system (depending on Carbon or Titanium....now THAT looks nice), plus the £500 odd for Chris.... ouch... that's nearly £2k! What does the Multi make as standard? Now we just need Finn to come back and tell us what the Leo Vince link pipe and end can are really like, and his "seat of the pants" or real dyno experience. This setup is "only" £893.50.....so £1400 with Chris' fettling.... ouch... Oh, but don't remind me (and others) how much we have already spent on Termi Stubby's, Mivv link pipes and the like...:frown:
Not yet swayed - stock can with the LV decat/silencer is still the winner, and if the sound is as good as in the vid - it's for me. Just need to have a chat with Duacti Glasgow to see if they will fit and for how much. There is no way I'm paying 2k for something that sounds great but doesn't please my eye. Not gonna happen.
Having found that my Laser zorsts are nothing more than an ally can, perforated pipe, glassfibre and two end caps (ie, you can see right through them) a mate of mine has just made up a pair for his old Guzzi using roughly the same measurements, but with a carbon fibre outer.....sounds much better than mone and mine are pretty good. He got the stuff from here......cheaper than buying 'readymade' I reckon....cost him about £225. PJ Engineering - Home Page - Manufacturers & suppliers of High Temp. It was still as of February, mine was 2nd apparently. Yep, at the rear wheel. As Boomer says, get yourself down to CJS.
Hi David, sorry for the late reply, have been away.. I fiited LV link pipe and carbon can over the winter as i just wasn't happy with the previous Mivv set-up - Too loud/poor feel and responce My previous set-up was Mivv decat with BR MK11 baffle and temi stubby carbon can - i went for this to ditch the cat but also to keep the looks of the termi stubby - ultimately it was too loud and i felt i lost power and responce.. just feeling, no dyno check. I feel the LV set-up is much better with a smooth linear power delivery and good exhaust tone -plus i really like the look  The link pipe is baffled, also the can has removable baffle, i have tried both set-up briefly: LV baffle in - responsive feel and nice tone when opening up - feels very smooth power delivery LV baffle out - becomes much louder, more like the previous Mivv set up - but LV still feels more responsive than previous Mivv.. I'm not sure whether i will get the setting fettled for further improvement, as at the moment i'm really happy... though dyno would be interesting Hope this helps, Cheers Finn
