F***k*** Cyclists

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by J biker, Jul 4, 2017.

  1. You said that twice

  2. We are talking here about the majority of MAMIL cyclists and there disgusting attitude on the road - it's as simple as that. And then some cyclists on here get annoyed and start becoming aggressive - typical of the breed one would have to ask

  3. Start becoming aggressive :joy:
I dislike cycling wankers taking up the road as much as the next man but I can clearly see where the aggression is coming from.

  4. I was out up that Lancashire and Yorkshire today and their was some cycling event on. They were everywhere. Farzzands of em. 1-2-3-4 abreast and in a convoy of about 100 yds at times.
You see em, show em some respect, slow right down, be patient, you wait, and you wait, and they just don’t give a shit.
So you sit there waiting for a break in the convoy for ages and they just will not pull over into single or even double file. Nahhhh, it’s like they have a divine right to be there and fuck everyone else.
It’s hard not to lose your rag.

I fuckin hate them. But, I’d never put them or meself at risk.
Just wish they’d jump in the fuckin hedge when they heard a bike coming o_O

  8. There was an event on in the upper Swansea valley today, signs up everywhere telling us to be aware of cyclists merging from various directions at road junctions all over the place. I notice they don't put signs up warning other road users about the possibility of me merging at road junctions when I'm out on my Multi on a Sunday.

To be fair, I don't have to much of a problem with them when their going downhill, but going uphill now that's a different kettle of fish :triumph:
p.s. How come their allowed to have these competitions on open public roads ?

  9. It was a ‘sportive’ which is just an organised marked route. It wasn’t a race as there was no prizes although each rider was timed. I think the Dragon Ride was 135 miles with about 3,000 mtrs of climbing.
Some of you should try cycling its a great way to relieve stress.

  10. It don't relieve my stress when I'm behind a bunch going uphill on a narrow single track road in my van. But I must say in between their puffing and panting they do have a look of serenity on their faces whilst I'm stressed to feck behind them

  11. Is now a good time to mention that I feel the same way about 'considerate cyclists on the road as I do about 'bellend' cyclists on the road? I don't differentiate them in any way.

    Anyhoot, carry on.

  12. Don’t mind behind the ladies for a while, but I was behind one of them yesterday for a hundred yards or so waiting for a gap and noticed they had super tight lycra pant things on. That tight you could see the g string through em stretched to max. Went by, looked in me mirrer and it were a bloody bloke with a beard. I nearly crashed.
